RadioActive Bali - The PROJECT Video: Phase-1 WrapUp.
International Project 1.0
RadioActive
Radio Boracay Philippines is proud to be part of RadioActive Boracay - International Radio Project For Young People.
RadioActive has been developed as a response to issues being faced by young people with fewer opportunities, specifically those who are unemployed and have limited media access or knowledge of how to use media.
Part of our commitment to the community, Radio Boracay took the plunge in organizing our 1st-ever international project - RadioActive. It's an international radio project for young people with fewer opportunities, as mentioned above. Young Filipino millennials aged 18-30 were given free, non-formal training in radio.
Aside from that, top participants of the said radio workshop/training were chosen to represent the Philippines in Europe for their short term EVS - European Voluntary Service.
RadioActive project is organized by Everything Is Possible-UK, and supported by the Youth In Action programme of the European Commission. See the highlights of RadioActive Phase-1 on the video presentation above.
- PHASE 1 - Radio Workshop/Seminar
- PHASE 2 - European Voluntary Service
Young Filipinos from Davao City flew in to Boracay for RadioActive Workshop (Phase 1). It's a 1-day seminar/workshop on the fundamentals of radio broadcasting at Best Western Boracay Tropics.

RadioActive Boracay - European Voluntary Service (Phase-2)
Two of RadioActive Boracay workshop participants flew to the UK for European Voluntary Service(see photo above). Another two were sent to Italy for their month-long immersion. EVS is Phase-2 of the project.
Radio Boracay hosted eight (8) millennials from Europe as part of the youth exchange segment of the project. As seen on the photo above, Philippine delegates to Italy welcome their UK counterparts to the island of Boracay.
Pictured above are our 1st batch of volunteers from Italy and the UK, performing their radio production work exercises.
